Promoting social excellence

An active social policy for a collective dynamic

The Joint Social Affairs Department (Service commun des affaires sociales – SCAS) sets out the policy for social, cultural, sports and leisure activities for all staff at the University of Lille.

The Excellence Initiative and SCAS

With the aim ofimproving social links and offering a range of sports and cultural activities at preferential rates, SCAS has had its budget increased by the University of Lille by a grant from the Excellence Initiative funds.

In 2023, the Excellence Initiative grant awarded to SCAS, amounting to €240,420, enabled it to offer a range of preferential rates in the following areas: travel, sport, subsidised tickets and children’s holidays.
