Anchored in an area characterised by multiple challenges, but also a strong potential for scientific, economic and social innovation, the University of Lille is a co-founder of the 3i Network together with KU Leuven (KULAK) in Belgium, theUniversity of Ghent and theUniversity of Kent in the United Kingdom. The network’s founding universities are convinced that cooperation fosters innovation and creativity, generating projects that benefit the population, businesses and other regional organisations.

The international 3i network brings together four universities:
