Interregional Internationalisation Initiative University Network

Founded in 2020, the Interregional Internationalisation Initiative University Network (3i Network) brings together the universities of Ghent, KU Leuven, Kent and Lille to tackle the challenges shared by the regions of Flanders, Kent and Hauts-de-France in collaboration with stakeholders in the public and private sectors.

Members of the 3i Network

Anchored in an area characterised by multiple challenges, but also a strong potential for scientific, economic and social innovation, the University of Lille is a co-founder of the 3i Network together with KU Leuven (KULAK) in Belgium, theUniversity of Ghent and theUniversity of Kent in the United Kingdom. The network’s founding universities are convinced that cooperation fosters innovation and creativity, generating projects that benefit the population, businesses and other regional organisations.
